The first two Cashmere Goats in 1988, were followed by the importation of the second group of goats in 1995, but it soon became obvious that it would take years to have enough fiber to make any real finished Cashmere products. The baby kids drank lots of milk but the mother goats produced even more, and after borrowing recipes and experimenting with new ones, Nora cajoled a small soap manufacturer into making a first batch of Handmade Goat's Milk Soaps, carefully wrapped one by one in her kitchen. The picture became more complex; but could anyone really combine goats, Cashmere and soap?
