AN AUTHENTIC TUSCAN EXPERIENCE

This year we are thrilled to invite you into our newly re-organized Farm Shop - a place for people who love fiber and yarn, handmade textiles, and who want top-quality, hand-made accessories, gifts, home furnishings and of course, who love GOATS!

We have scoured local and not-so-local craftsmen's studios to offer you everything from our own raw cashmere fiber, to roving, yarn, to the finished knitted or woven article;  scarves, shawls, stoles and neck-warmers, unique crafts - ceramic goat whistles (did you know that a goat can whistle?), felt necklaces, flowers, earings and book covers, hand-woven rugs, tablecloths and place-mats, felted knitters' carry-alls, hemp shoppers, and the list goes on.

And then there are the GOATS!! Little ones, big ones and baby kids cavorting in the fields - garanteed entertainment, especially if you've seen enough churches, wineries et al.  How about sitting still to watch the unending antics of baby kids!

For GROUPS:  Cashmere 101:  everything you wanted to know about Cashmere but didn't know enough to ask!!  The basics of cashmere goats, what they are, how they are raised, how we harvest their lovely fiber and how it is processed into a finished garment.
On request, we can organize weaving, knitting or embroidery CLASSES with our Italian artisan collaborators; snacks, coffee, tea or a homemade pasta LUNCH shared over-looking the valley.  Basic back-to-the earth home-cooking with ingredients straight from our garden

For SPINNERS:  come and stay at our farm and help us to comb.  This really is a unique experience, and you are welcome to take home the raw fiber that you manage to comb while you're here - we give you the goat and the comb and you provide the elbow grease. We suggest a camera to immortalize the fun - you will be the envy of all your friends back home!  Seeing our combing and kidding calendar

For WEAVERS, KNITTERS and FELTERS:  Skeins and cones of Cashmere yarn, raw fiber and dehaired fiber by weight, and a wonderful selection of other natural fibers to select from

Stay tuned:  will be putting up news as we have it!!
