testimonials 8 Love this little dog !!! He is so wonderful, somebody said he was a joyous animal and it's the truth.......Everyone loved the golden because he was beautiful and well behaved and loved people. Nobody thought I could have another like him,and the Rocc is physicallly far different but everyone thinks he's great! He is so sweet and loving and he' learning some discipline even tho it is tough to control his exuberance ! Our friends who take him when we leave town never want to give him back. So I at least nnever have to worry that he's happy and cared for - they won't even go out and leave him alone!!! Silly people!!

testimonials 8 Nora, We love our sweet little Bolognese puppy! We named her Snowflake because she is so white and came to us in the winter. Thank you for making sure she got from Italy to America safely. We are so lucky!

testimonials 8 Dear Nora, Thank you so much for everything you did for us. The puppies are wonderful and full of life. They are the social hit in Palm Beach. Jan gave a dinner party on Saturday to formally introduce them to the Palm Beach social society. It was great fun. A friend of Jane's wanted to know if you had 1 puppy left. She loves them... any ?
Kindest regards, Pearl
Dear Nora, Leo is helping me type this email! (Actually biting the key board) He is a delight, hardly "a mellow fellow" He is into everything (like a normal puppy). I need your mailing address so we can send some photos. I have enclosed some with this email. Hope all is well with you. Best wishes,
Francesco Filiberto
Nora, The ex pats page is a great idea. I would be great if there were a section to ask questions. There have been a couple of behaviors that I could not figure out. Pochino is just wonderful, great personality, loves people and playfully terrorizes our older large dog. We take the dogs to the wine shop occasionally and everyone fawns over them..... most thinking Pochino is some sort of poodle, then we explain her breed and that we bought her in Italy. One of her cutest traits is running around in large circles when she wants to play. She is amazingly fast and caught a bunch of mice at the cabin last summer. The one behavior that I could not figure out for the longest time was lifting her crotch to the older dog when they are playing. I did an internet search and found that she is just "saying" you are the boss. It has been perfect with two dogs Pochino has livened up Goldie and I doubt that Pochino would do well at home by herself. One of the more interesting weekends with Pochino was last July at the cabin. Our family cabin is on a lake by Yellowstone National Park and most of the family was up that weekend. We are all big dog lovers so there were 10 dogs: 1 great Dane, 2 old cockers, 1 middle age cocker that thinks she owns the place, 2 larger mixed breed pound dogs, 1 loewenberger (may have the breed wrong but it's a massive dog), 1 husky, 1 Labrador AND Pochino who thought each and every dog was her best friend. She would bolt into the lake to play with the Great Dane......she is swimming away and the Great Dane isn't even up to it's knees OR she would have all of the dogs running in circles trying to catch her (impossible as she is too fast). Anyway it was great fun!!!! It took us awhile to train Pochino but only because we approached trained wrong. We have primarily owned large dogs AND if they don't mind you drag them over or let them know that you're the boss. When Pochino wouldn't come in we would pick her up and bring her in (duh) Finally realized the error of our ways and changed our behavior. She is rarely on a leash and does well with voice commands even out at the parks. Anyway, I've rambled on and on but as you can gather we just adore our little Italian friend. Ciao,
Jeannie
Nora, Hope all is well with you in Radda. We are fine here in Kansas. Allegra is such a joy and so affectionate. She is also quite playful and gets along great with her Tibetan Terrier sister. Allegra recently finished her first heat cycle. We are still considering perhaps breeding her once (everyone who meets her falls in love with her)! Also, my vet asked me to check with you as to whether this breed often needs a caesarian to deliver their puppies or not. I have not found anything on the Internet that would indicate that to be the case, but thought I would check with you as you have lots of experience. Thanks

Lucca has adjusted and they are inseparable. Now we have both of them sleeping with us. They are very funny together. Anyway, take care, hope all is well. We love the dogs, Sophia is another joy for us; I'll send you some pictures--as soon as I can find my camera

testimonials 8 Dear Nora, I am so in love with caramella; as soon as she layed eyes on me she just started waging her tail and she did not stop til I got home. she was amazingly well in the car she did not have any accidents; she pretty much slept the whole way, but if she was not sleping she would be licking me to death or constantly smiling at me. she loves being groomed and huged. I had a little troble geting her to sleep but after about 4 hours I said "caramella go to sleep now" and guess what she did she listed. Thank you so much

testimonials 8 We are doing great, Salty and 'Mel get together often and we are now attending the perfect puppy classes in Santa Barbara. I don't think the little girls need this class, but they have so much fun playing with the other dogs. Salty comes to work with me mmost days and all of my clients love her. Something that is so funny and ironic, her best fan is down at the government building. When I an submitting plans for planning and construction one of the planners that I often work with keeps doggie treats for when Salty visits. The attached picture is of Salty at work today. The second picture is of Mel with Sheila's youngest child, Hartwin. Another funny note: At our puppy class, the teacher refers to the girls as "the twins" It couldn't be further from the truth! Salty is 2x Mel's size and they have such distinct personalities. Salty knows what she wants and likes! And we all love her! Thanks again for all of your hospitality and the lovely puppies, ciao

testimonials 8 Pups are doing very well. They have gotten two very different personalities, Fede, the small one is very active, in your face, clown like. Carita’ is very reserved and proper, but independent. She is the alpha and Fede appears to be the runt. Both doing well on training, and we have a dog trainer on a 6 week course to keep them from bad habits. I am attaching a pic of the pups from the 4th of July in Santa Fe. They do strange things there for the holiday. Thanks.

testimonials 8 The one on the lawn is her at about 1 year. She is now 18 mo and still the same size (about 3.5 lbs) She is a wonderful dog! Actually she is a member of the family, never makes much noise and will dive in her carrier anytime she thinks we are going somewhere. We would love to talk to anyone who is interested in adopting a "Bolognese'
